Avination, welcome back to the Pilot to Pilot podcast. Today, I am interviewing someone who has played a major role in my life, my dad. My dad is currently a major airline pilot and has seen a lot over his career. From deregulation, multiple airline mergers, 9/11, the financial crisis of 2008 and now, coronavirus. Ironically enough, my dad and I talk about how we don't think the industry would ever see a downturn as bad as 9/11 or 2008. We couldn't have been more wrong, it's crazy how fast things can change. Just remember this too is a temporary moment in what will be a long and great career.
Have faith and stay safe!
Justin

Rune and I talk about what ATC zero means, the difference between ATC zero and ATC limited. We also, talk about the chance of the National Airspace System (NAS) being shut down completely.

Avination, welcome back to episode 99 of the Pilot to Pilot podcast. Today, I am talking with my friend and mad scientist (find out more about that in the podcast), Anthony Pentz. Anthony and I both went to The Ohio State University at the same time and had a few classes with each other. It was at Ohio State where Anthony created his company, Foxtrot Aviation. Which is now working around the clock to make sure airplanes are clean and ready for next day flights.
I spent all day yesterday creating a website to help track how the coronavirus is affection the aviation industry. Check it out at www.aviationcoronavirusnews.com, if you have any insight on domestic or international airlines, make sure to send them my way.

Avination, I wish this was a regular Tuesday interview-style podcast. But, with Coronavirus doing its best to disrupt our economy, health care, and aviation industries, I figured it was necessary to have an episode (maybe more) about the FACTS. In this episode, I reached out to department chair and Professor of Aviation at the University of North Dakota, Dr. Jim Higgins. We talked about where the industry is today, what we have been through in the past, and what the future could hold.
